If I took these back to say, 2008, and said “This is the guy who David Tennant’s Doctor regenerates into..”, I imagine the response would’ve been pretty damn amazing.

From older fans, I’d have gotten “Oh wow, he’s got a very Troughton look about him. I hope he’s a lot like him.”

From newer fans, I’d have gotten “DAIVD TENANT WILL NEVAH LEAVE!!!!!!!1”


If I show them to people now, the responses would be:

From older fans: “Yeah he’s really a lot more alien than previous Doctors…”
From newer fans: “HE’S ISNT AS GOOD AS DAVID TENNENT THO!!1123JCLJ”
